Information FollowCue handles

FollowCue stores reminders, selected text, notes, page titles, source URLs, and reminder times locally in the user's Chrome profile using chrome.storage.local. It accesses selected text and the current page's title and URL only when a user chooses Save to FollowCue from the browser's context menu. It does not read pages in the background.

How information is used

The saved information is used only to show and manage the user's reminders, deliver local browser notifications, and reopen a saved source URL when requested.

Sharing and transmission

FollowCue does not sell user data, use it for advertising, transmit saved content or browsing activity to a remote server, or share data with third parties. It has no account, analytics, or advertising service.

Storage and deletion

Users can delete individual reminders from the extension interface. Uninstalling the extension removes its locally stored extension data. FollowCue does not retain a server copy.

Chrome API use

Use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
